Right Inside the Heart

I think this critter is called katydid, and during August we have quite a few of them. They loved my zinnia that I had growing in a pot. They were not shy even with my camera pointing so close to them.

My zinnia flower didn't have many blooms this year. The just got very tall and grew three flowers. Many it is time to try out new soil and plant them straight into the earth.

Pretty zinnia and nice katydid. You got some nice photos! Hope if you transplant the zinnias they will bloom more next year.

I like the color of the zinnia, hopefully they will keep blooming for a while. The katydid is cute, I see them sometimes, they do seem to stick around.
