Pretty Orioles

I saw this pretty oriole hanging on the wire from my laundry room's window. It hung around for a long time while my mind went blank. I just stared at the pretty yellow feathers, and then grabbed my camera to go outside.

Then it flew down closer to my house, and stood on the rose of Sharon. Seems to me this pretty oriole just wanted to be in pictures; so I started to snap the photos.

Then another one came, and I was just elated to see them having a conversation. This pair too was having fun, jumping up and down from branches to branches.

Joining Saturday Critters!

Update: I thought these are orioles, but they are American Gold Finches! Registered & Protected

You're so lucky to have attracted these birds. They are gorgeous! The other day, I saw a blue one in our backyard and was ecstatic! But you get to see all kinds of bird almost every week... hehe
