I consider myself a lucky woman when I get to see this little beautiful skipper for two straight months. It didn't come every day, but only once in July and now once in August. It is known as Checkered/Grizzled/Hairy streak skipper.
If it is not flitting or flying, I would not be able to see it since it is so tiny. It is such a beautiful thing to see, and it is also a spirit lifter for me.
It seems to love the clover flowers in my yard, and I am glad it decided to stay a while. I haven't seen our regular skippers yet this year, but this one will do for now, as it gives such great joy to see. Have a fantastic weekend, everyone.
