Hawk Of 2014

I was looking through my archives for some pictures to post, but get tired of the process and went outside to do some shoveling. When I took a break and looked up, I saw this fluffy hawk quietly perching in another yard.

Yes well, I don't leave home without a camera; it's either in my coat pocket or in my bag.  Point and shoot camera has this advantage, but not for zooming. With the gray sky and branches, I couldn't get a clear shot of the hawk.

You have to admit, hawk in a big city is quite an amazing thing to see, at least to me! Wishing everyone a great weekend!

We have a lot of big birds around where I live, as we're on the river,,,it's still amazing to seen.

I love the serendipity of finding this lovely picture op when you got tired of searching your archives because you didn't have any new pictures. Ha! Wish that would work for me.
