Black Wasp

I had quite a collection of different bug around the mint flowers, more so than the previous years! I think this one is in the wasp family, not sure if it's the great black wasp or is the blue wings wasp the one?

It is huge in size, and quite mean looking! I wasn't dare to come to close, so my zoom did the job for me, which resulting in grainy picture.

As I have mentioned before, there was no monarch butterfly or question mark butterfly this year around, but in their places, there were different types of bug.

How interesting! I captured a peculiar bug last week. A weird wasp, with a huge ovipositor. Very pretty.
