Baby Woodpecker
Does he look like a baby woodpecker to you? He does to me, and I was thrilled beyond words to see him in early March. The day was gray and cold, but his colors stood out. My eyes automatically focused on him.
Cutie Woodpecker
I have no idea if he is a Downy Woodpecker or a Hairy Woodpecker as I can't tell the difference, so someone please tells me. This one had no red spot on its head either, and a search on Google said it might be the Three-Toed Woodpecker.
Lovely Woodpecker
This is my second time sighted a woodpecker, and the first was in 2012. Now that I looked back at last year post, that woodpecker didn't have a red spot either. In any case, have a great weekend..

He looks like a little Downy! They are very small. I was thrilled when I saw these in my yard for the first time.
