Is It a Gold Finch?

Gold Finch
I always keep my eyes on this huge tree in my neighbor's yard for birds, and this little one was busy eating the berries. I spotted the yellow color on its head, and away I clicked.
Back Side
I was not sure what it was called and did a search on Google. My bird looked like a North American Gold Finch photo that the result showed.
Taking a Rest
This last photo showed my bird better, and the only one that was decent enough. It was way up high on the tree that if I zoomed in more, it would just be grainy. So, is this a North American Gold Finch?

A lovely photo, looks like he is really enjoying those berries.
ReplyDeleteNie wiem czy dobrze rozpoznałaś ptaka, bo go nie widziałam jeszcze. Jest jednak śliczny. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteI do not know whether I've met a bird I have not seen him yet. But it is pretty. Yours.
Looks like a goldfinch... It's very pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhat ever he is ... he loves berries! Fun! Happy Critter Day!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have a clue what kind of bird it is but I think your pictures are quite good. They always are.
