Icicles
After the snow storm last Friday, we had icicles upon icicles all around our house. Since it was freezing wind, the icicles swayed in the direction of the wind, making wonderful looking curves. Are you cold yet by these icicles? Come on inside and I will show you something special that will warm you right up!
Beet Growing
Beets! Yes, these are beets that are growing in my refrigerator! My sister, KQD, recommended that I should start eating beets for a variety of amazing health benefits, including a boost in energy as I am feeling like a wet rag everyday.
Since the beets were cheap, 3 pounds for .99 cents, I bought a huge bag! I kept the beets in a plastic bag, and didn't eat them all in time, so they sprouted with these beautiful leaves. Needless to say, I was amazed at how well these beets kept, and growing!

this is so gorgeous...nature's chandelier!
ReplyDeleteI am saving a couple of my blue potatoes to grow them so they can get a head start before growing season. Perhaps you should plant these? They are pretty.
ReplyDeleteThe icicle photo is just amazing. Four star. It was a pretty snow, wasn't it? I've never been a beet fan -- my mother said I was spitting them out from age two! But I do like making shrunken heads from them at holidays! I'm glad you enjoy them -- good luck with the growing season!
