Gorgeous Red
My first sighting of this gorgeous red color cardinal in winter was thrilling to say the least. His color was incredibly amazing to see when all around him was gray! He stood out as a welcome guest in the yard.

For some reasons, I think winter brought out such vibrant red color in this cardinal in particular, comparing to the ones in the summer. Maybe it is from the sunlight, and maybe because it stood against the gray area. Whatever it was, I got two shots out of it, and I was happy :-)

Goodness, Icy, this is a most amazing photograph. I've never seen such a splendid cardinal. He stands out gloriously in the drab surroundings.
