Critter On a Borrow Bed

Hopper
Is this a regular grasshopper? I am not sure anymore as I saw too many strange looking ones around my yard, during the summer. I am not fond of insects, but they made an interesting subject to photograph.

A Borrow Bed
This hopper loved to stay on the inside petals of flowers, and their favorite ones are lilies and zinnias. I usually found them sleeping by the heart of the flowers in the morning.

I too am not fond of insects but they are quite interesting and such beautiful photo subjects...the flowers must really be so sweet that insects love kissing them...beautiful captures as always :)

It is amazing how there are so many different kinds of grasshopper-like insects! Neat photos. Especially like the first one, with the textures and colors of the ground under the insect.

Nice shot! I agree with TexWisGirl on identity because of those long antennae!

There are so many species of grasshoppers! I would consider this guy a typical one.

Takie owady mi nie przeszkadzają i są bardzo ładne. Życzę szczęśliwego Nowego Roku i pozdrawiam.
These insects do not bother me and they are very nice. I wish you a Happy New Year and best regards.
