It is time for me to share my pride and joy of this gorgeous flower, which is the Acidanthera Murielae, and commonly known as sword lily! I bought two bags of three bulbs/corms each at the Dollar Store early in Spring, and planted them in my flower pot.
Three Gorgeous Acidanthera
The body stems and leaves resembled gladiolus, and the flowers have a maroon center with light fragrant. Each stem produced about 6 to 8 flowers but they took turn to bloom. Thus, I constantly have new flower to enjoy.

I have to remember to dig up the bulbs since they are annual flowers, and store them in a cool dry place after clean the corms for next year planting. These gorgeous sword lilies loved full sun and well drained soil. If I can grow them, so can you!
