Buckeyes Butterfly 2012

Buckeyes Butterfly

I spotted this very beautiful and tattered wings butterfly on my white coneflower one morning. Upon looking up on Google, I found out it was called Buckeyes butterfly. Oh yes, happy, happy I was to see this butterfly in my garden.

Tattered Wings
His/her wings were tattered, but not as bad as my Warrior Butterfly that came to this very same flower before. I tried my best not to disturb this gorgeous and tiring buckeyes butterfly.

Spreading Wings
This buckeyes butterfly didn't seem to be very active! It dropped down on this perilla mint when I came closer for a few shots.

It is a fact that we are growing old.

But we are getting younger.

We see these little critters as our toys, and feel so happy.

Isn't amazing and inspirational how they can have such tattered wings, yet continue on and still be so beautiful?!?!

These are gorgeous photos and they display so beautifully the fact that there is perfection and beauty in imperfection. Nicely done, Icy.
