The Giant Black Wasp
A black knight.
what a crisp and vivid picture of the black wasp, like what rainfield said, a black knight :)
haha, smiling here reading your words...he does seem annoyed haha, but does look so beautiful in all its uniqueness :-)
Great pictures you show.Wishing you a good weekend :)
Never thought I would say a wasp was beautiful, but you have opened my eyes to its iridescence ...
he is beautiful!
I would keep my distance, you are brave. Great photos!
That is great detail. So nice to meet you...I just joined your other two sites and invited my sister, email@example.com we have different interests for our blogs...but many similar. Thanks for coming over to join me. Mary
Really nice, sharp photos! I see these from time to time, and I love how the light reflects iridescent blue off their wings.
Beautiful shots, and I understand what you mean-I cannot imagine being on the receiving end of a sting from him is all that nice and wasps can still sting you if they are dead too. Thanks for sharing:)
Wow ... fantastic shots, suuuuper sharp photos..Best regards, Karin
Great captures - especially the one of him in hiding! Wonderful contrasts. Thanks for sharing.
He is rather attractive!
He's one scary lookin' dude.
Well at least he didn't get too annoyed with you. His blue wings are so pretty. Great macro shots Icy.
I was tracking a bumble bee yesterday with my camera and then I had second thoughts...like you...I don't want to learn the hard way how hurtful their stings can be. Good job on getting so close unscathed!!
Groźnie wygląda, ale ma śliczne zdjęcia. Pozdrawiam.Looks scary, but it has beautiful pictures. Yours.
