Bee On Coneflower

Little Bee On Coneflower

The coneflower is a gathering place for critters of wings. I had butterflies, bees, hornets, and wasps. This little bee preferred to feed on this one cone in particular.

Another View

He/she was really deep in concentration and didn't mind my camera sticking very close to it. Under the afternoon sun, I can see its fuzzy wuzzy hairy thing too.

Dive Down
It moves this way, that way, and dives deep down inside the cone, exposing a pair of sparkling wings. I do worry about getting stung by it, so I keep my distant and make the photo session short.
