Blue Jay Eying the Feeder
I have been after blue jay since the beginning of Spring, and did got a few shots but was not happy with those until today. I put out an open dish of seeds the night before, hoping the blue jay would come back, and sure enough he came early in the morning.
Pretty Blue Jay
He was busy eating and didn't see me sneaking behind the corner. Once he noticed my present, he flew away and stood there with one eye on me. I love his color and the design on his wings.
Spooky Head Turned
Then to spook me out, he turned his head almost completely around to look at me. I dropped my jaw in disbelief in what I've just seen, but my finger kept on clicking. I quickly downloaded the photos, and my goodness, I got just one to show you!

Your plan worked and you got beautiful blue jay pictures! Lovely colors and patterns, that kind of blue jay is not found around my area.
