The Hunger Games Movie Review

Tuesday, April 10, 2012

My son and I went to see The Hunger Games last Saturday morning, as it is one of most talk about subjects online and offline. We took the short way to have some ideas about this story by listening to audio books first, and then just plunged right into the movie.

Well, as you know, the story in the books provided much more details than the movie can ever show. If you haven't read the books to understand the general ideas of the story, I suggest you should.

I love the characters, the action and the scenery in this movie! However, the filming was somewhat making me dizzy and cursing the entire time. It was filmed with a jittery purposed, fast pace blurring in and out, uncontrollable shaking like a person with Parkinson disease, NO PUNT INTENDED! In other words, a majority part of the movie was filmed like an AMATEUR!

The way it was recorded has to be in style, and must be in demand or something. BUT, really, cut it out!!! We have enough of the jittery movements on television shows, and we don't want to go to the movie to get dizzy.

Overall, I love the story line, and wish that they would show a bit more of Catnip's life history instead of jumping straight into the game. The twisted ending of The Hunger Games though was a great inspiration, courageous, and admirable.
