Head Turning Completely Around
Way up on the tree, this hawk spotted me, as I spotted him. He turned around and looked at me. I wished the hawk was in plain sight for me to take pictures rather than behind a curtain of branches. Thus, he became my elusive hawk.
Still Standing There
He didn't look very friendly, but suspicious with my presence, so I went back inside to avoid confrontation should it happen. Later on, I came out, and he was still there. This time, his head turned completely around to watch me.
Keeping His Eye On Me
This photo was closest one that my camera can zooming in! It was very hard to focus on just the hawk since there were so many branches around him.
Check out This Or That Thursday, and Camera Critters!

oh, beautiful images of the hawk, Icy, I love seeing them soar high above the sky or perched on the tree like that
ReplyDeleteI see you have budding blossoms on your tree now, Icy. This means spring is in the air. I know you're going to take loads of beautiful pictures to show us more of what is going on in your world.
ReplyDeleteYou still got a great picture of the hawk. I see at least three every time I go out, but I don't get any pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! How wonderful to have found your hawk!
ReplyDeleteBranches or not, those are nice shots!
ReplyDeleteGreat sighting of the hawk. Too bad the branches were in the way. I love the first shot of the hawk looking at you. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHe is posing for you Icy. You can still see him very well behind those branches and what a special treat it is to capture a hawk through your lens. Well done.
