Black Squirrel
All Mine
My Apple
He took a couple crunches as quickly as he could, and almost dropped his precious food. Squirrels around my house rarely seemed hungry as they could find food every day in my next door neighbor's yard. You see, these renters tossed their trash on the ground without a bother.
Resting Time
After the squirrel was full, he was ready to rest in this corner, along with his friend! The white background was the renters' house! The left over foods were good for feeding the animals, but I am not sure if it is really good as far as safety or health issues concerned!

Love your squirrel captures. They are delightful! Bev and I caught a blond squirrel a few houses away from her and I wished I had a stronger lens.
They are all mine.
The pictures are yours.
Oh, Icy how precious. He is so cute and looks so full :) You know I learned something with this post, I did not know that they eat apples. I'm going to bring some with me the next time I go to the gardens to feed them. Love these shots.
You really got some great pictures of the black squirrel. I think as many times as I've encountered black squirrels, your pictures easily equal or surpass my best.
yikes! you must be pissed off by your unhygienic neighbor! same thing happens to us sometimes, we live in the 7th floor and those living on the upper floors just drop their left over food in their kitchen windows anyhow. :(
oh so cute, and adorable, have not seen any black squirrel yet.
A lovely squirrel. We don't have those here. We have the grey ones. I have a lot of them running around in the garden.
What a lucky find for him!
Oh how amazing!! This is so funny...
Thanks everyone for taking time to leave wonderful comments.
@Susan--I'm not quite sure which part is so funny though :-(
Great captures, squirrel watching can be so entertaining. We only have gray squirrels in our yard, interesting to see the black.
Great captures of the beautiful squirrel.
I've never seen a black one.
Here they're all brown.
Have a great weekend.

I've never seen a black squirrel before. How gorgeous!
I don't think I have ever seen a black squirrel nice shots.
Your squirrel with apple pictures are adorable! I hope to see a black squirrel someday. :)
Great shots...I've never seen a black squirrel. I can't believe people just throw their trash in the yard.
What a great looking squirrel. I don't think that I've ever seen a black squirrel either! Thanks for sharing that with us. I always love your pictures. They are so great. I have a blog award for you on my page, stop by and pick it up if you would like! : )..
Oh Icy, you got some great shot of the little black squirrel. He looks like he is really enjoying that apple. Too bad about the renters and their trash. It probably isn't all that sanitary.
