What Am I?
What Are Those Orange Dots?
You know, when you were busy observing something as fascinating as this bug, you forgot to shoot, right? That was me! By the time I remembered to snap some pictures, the bug went away!
Such a Pretty Bug
I still don't know what this bug was, but it was pretty! I like the orange dots on the top of its body, and the beautiful pattern on its wings.
Have a great weekend..

Your pretty bug looks like a crane fly and the orange dots could be mites. What ever it is, for sure it is gorgeous in your pictures!
ReplyDeleteThis insect is very pretty with the bit of red-orange coloring. Great macros!
ReplyDeleteIt's fascinating! I would guess the orange dots are eggs.
ReplyDeletelooks like some sort of mosquito.. are those eggs? i wonder.. *hugs, Icy*
ReplyDeleteoh wow, gorgeous indeed Icy, those tiny orange dots made it more unique, am not sure if they are eggs or mites or something else :(

ReplyDeleteGreat macro of this insect. It does look a great deal like a Crane Fly but their eggs are oblong and black. Those orange dots are rather interesting.
ReplyDeleteI was sure I had seen this one before but somehow I forgot to comment. I am curious about what type of insect this is too.
