Green Damselfly

Green Damselfly

Mama watches as I crawl on the grass
Chasing, following this beautiful green damselfly
Truly you can't tell who is more fascinating to see
The girl in the grass, or the mother that watches me!

God provides an abundant of things to discover
Some up high in the sky and some under our feet
Big or small depends on how you want to see it
My green damselfly taught me to appreciate life!

Stunning to say the least. I can see each individual hair and right through to the details on the wings. Just amazing shots and beautiful words to match. Fantastic job on these.

Aren't these the most amazing, delicate creatures, Icy. Maybe I'm just not opening my eyes wise enough, Icy, but I never see damsel flys!

These damselfly pictures are excellent. I don't think I've ever seen one with quite those colors.

I have been seeing a lot of these around our area lately. And by a lot, I mean probably close to 20 at a time! They are sooo great to see, not sure why they are around here, thanks for letting us get so up close and enjoying them at rest!

Hello,
The third photo is marvelous. Your camera catches the beautiful truth of a damselfly. Fresh green, delicate shape, big eyes etc amazed me. Indeed God provides things to discover as you say.
Have a great time.
Sarah.

It's beautiful the way its wings seem almost transparent.
